Expense-related allowances.

A. Pursuant to s.157 of the Fair Work Act 2009, the above award is varied as follows:

1. By deleting the amount “$15.75” appearing in clause 18.3(a)(i) and inserting “$16.09”.

2. By deleting the amount “$83.90” appearing in clause 18.3(b)(i) and inserting “$85.59”.

3. By deleting the amount “$586.98” appearing in clause 18.3(b)(ii) and inserting “$598.82”.

4. By deleting the table appearing in clause C.2.1 and inserting the following:

Accommodation allowance—for the first 7 days	18.3(b)(i)	85.59	per day
Accommodation allowance—for any subsequent week or part thereof	18.3(b)(ii)	598.82	per week or part thereof
Boot allowance	18.3(d)(i)	3.20	per week
Clothing allowance	18.3(e)(i)	2.60	per week
Loss of clothing—up to a maximum amount of	18.3(f)	746.90

B. This determination comes into operation on 1 November 2020. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 1 November 2020.
