Apply to stop unprotected industrial action (Form F14)

Use Form F14 if you want to ask the Commission to stop unprotected industrial action.

'Unprotected industrial action' is action not authorised by a 'protected action ballot'. A protected action ballot is a secret ballot to see if employees wish to join in protected industrial action.

Who can use this form

Only use Form F14 if:

industrial action affects or is likely to affect you
you are an organisation where industrial action will affect or is likely to affect your members.

Before you start

Have this information ready before you start. You will need to tell us:

your details (as the applicant)
your organisation's details (if applying on behalf of an organisation)
details of your lawyer or paid agent (if you are using one)
the details of the person or organisation you are seeking orders against
how the action may affect you or your organisation
your reasons (grounds) for wanting the action stopped
the orders you seek.

Email your completed form to [email protected]. If you have supporting documents, you should send them at the same time.

You can also send or deliver your documents to the Commission office near you.

What happens next

You must send (serve) a copy of the application to anyone you are asking for an order against.

You must do this as soon as possible after you lodge the application with us.
