Introduction
The work and care stream of the Modern Awards Review 2023-24 involves a research and consultation process to consider balancing work and care in the context of workplace relations settings in modern awards.
Content
- Commission staff published a discussion paper on Work and Care on 29 January 2024.
- A literature review prepared by Western Sydney University was published on 8 March 2024. Submissions in response to the literature review are now due by 12 noon (AEST) on Friday, 26 April 2024.
- A data profile prepared by the Fair Work Commission was published on 28 March 2024.
- Consultations were held with Deputy President O’Neill on 3-4 April and 9-11 April 2024.
- A work and care survey prepared by the Social Research Centre was published on 31 May 2024.
