The regulatory environment can be complex and difficult to navigate. We're committed to proactively educating registered organisations to achieve good governance and best practice.
Each year we publish the Education Strategy as a planning tool. This document is informed by the feedback received through surveys and direct engagement with our stakeholders.
There's flexibility to ensure we continue to focus on the latest topical issues.
Our Education Strategy is for:
- officers and employees of registered organisations
- members of registered organisations
- registered auditors.
2024-25 Strategy
We have released the 2024-2025 Registered Organisations Education and Engagement Strategy.
The strategy outlines the General Manager’s approach to providing education, assistance and advice to registered organisations and their members which will be delivered by the Registered Organisations Services Branch of the Commission of the Commission in 2024-2025.
The strategy was developed following feedback provided by registered organisations and their peak bodies as part of the independent Registered Organisations Governance and Compliance External Review.
While the total strategy is being projected over the 2024-2025 period, it currently includes a calendar of deliverables for the next 12 months that will be provided to registered organisations to help them meet their obligations. The calendar of deliverables will sit alongside the extensive suite of resources already available on the registered organisations page of the Commission’s website. A calendar of deliverables for 2025 will be published towards the end of 2024.
